Arthritis: Know the early signs

While there are different types of arthritis, most begin with these common symptoms:

  • difficulty with daily activities, like walking the stairs, opening doors, etc.
  • fatigue
  • pain in the joints
  • stiffness and loss of motion
  • swelling around the joints

If you notice those symptoms, don't put off seeing your doctor. The earlier you find out you have arthritis, and the earlier you begin treating it, the more effective your treatment will be.
