Special interests: Dr. Leslie has specialized in weight loss surgery since 2006, when he started advanced fellowship training in laparoscopic weight loss surgery. In his fellowship, he performed over 200 laparoscopic weight loss operations and 50 complex open and revisional operations, including 25 duodenal switch operations. His clinical interests include LAP-Band® surgery, laparoscopic and open Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, and laparoscopic and open duodenal switch. He has identified clinical predictors of weight loss after gastric bypass surgery.
