Divorce Support Group

This is a weekly, ongoing support group for individuals who are currently going through the divorce process or have been divorced within the past year. Topics discussed include grief/loss, family issues, decision making, boundary setting, stress management and self care.

The group can accomodate up to eight individuals and is facilitated by Licensed Psychologist Tonie Van Stelten, PsyD. Participants must schedule a brief intake prior to attending their first group session. more

Postpartum Depression Support Group

A newborn baby sleeps in a parent's arms. This ongoing group offers education and support for women who are experiencing or are at risk for postpartum depression. Mothers are  invited to bring their babies to our meetings.

Please call before attending your first meeting or if you are just seeking more information concerning postpartum mood disorders.

Way to Wellness
St. Paul, MN
This education and therapy group is for people with depression and anxiety who want to learn about their illness, and gain coping skills and support from other people who are dealing with similar issues. 

The group meets once a week for two hours. 

  • The first hour is education about a specific topic, such as understanding the cycle of stress, mindfulness skills, good self care, emotion regulation, or recognizing and challenging negative thinking.
  • The second hour is group therapy, a time to share your struggles and benefit from the empathy and experience of others. 

You can join the group whenever space is available. Participants are asked to have a one-hour intake appointment before their first support group meeting and make a commitment to attending for eight weeks. Call Jeannine at 651-241-5284 to schedule an intake appointment or to ask any questions.

Women's Supportive Therapy Group
Maple Grove, MN
This weekly, ongoing support group focuses on improving overall well being, health and functioning. Topics discussed include issues related to self esteem, relationships, anxiety, depression and work/ life balance.

Group therapy can be effective either alone or in conjunction with other forms of psychotherapy. Participants will be able to speak freely to others with similar struggles in a confidential, safe environment to seek support and share resources. Group interactions help participants to identify problems, get feedback, and change patterns in their lives.

Women of all ages are invited to participate. The group can accommodate up to 8 participants and is facilitated by Licensed Psychologist Tonie Van Stelten, PsyD. Participants must schedule a brief intake prior to attending their first group session. more
