Dorothy Erdmann

Dorothy Erdmann, Owatonna Hospital President

Dorothy Erdmann is president of Owatonna Hospital, a part of Allina Hospitals & Clinics. Prior to this position, she served as executive director of the Cardiovascular Services Division in the Minneapolis Heart Institute at Abbott Northwestern Hospital.

Dorothy was responsible for the full range of cardiology services from regional joint ventures and clinics to interventional and inpatient services. Before joining Allina, Erdmann was president of the Bellin Psychiatric Center in Green Bay, Wisc., a free-standing 50 bed hospital providing outreach services to a wide geographic area.

She also spent eight years in northern Wisconsin with the Howard Young Health Care system in various leadership positions. She was responsible for Emergency Services, multiple centers such as Women’s Health, Family Health, Physical Medicine, and Behavioral Health.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Erdmann has extensive leadership experience in hospital management, health care services and physician practice development. In addition, Erdmann has considerable experience in facilitating relationships between hospital and physician relationships.

David Albrecht, Owatonna Hospital Director of Operations and Finance/Assistant Administrator

David Albrecht is director of operations and finance/assistant administrator. Prior to joining Owatonna Hospital, Albrecht was the interim chief executive officer of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Huntingburg, Ind. He was previously executive vice president for Bellin Health, Green Bay, Wis. where he led the operations of Bellin Hospital including its employed primary care medical group and an affiliated HMO.

At Bellin, he was the lead executive in planning the construction of a number of major hospital expansion projects and numerous new clinic sites. Other positions Albrecht held at Bellin include controller, vice president of finance/chief financial officer and chief operating officer. He began his career in public accounting serving numerous manufacturing and health care clients.

Albrecht’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in business administration/accounting from University Wisconsin-Whitewater, and a master’s degree in business administration/health administration from the University of Colorado.

Albrecht has been active in his community including past member of the Downtown Green Bay Rotary Club and the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he has been involved in various healthcare organizations including Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), American College of Healthcare Executives, Wisconsin Hospital Association and a recent participant in the HFMA International US/UK Exchange.

Patricia Angelucci, RN, Owatonna Hospital Director of Patient Care Services

Patricia Angelucci, RN, is the director of patient care services at Owatonna Hospital. She is responsible for overseeing patient care services at Owatonna Hospital, including inpatient care services, surgical services and case management to enhance quality of care.

With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, Angelucci has an extensive clinical background focused on risk management, quality improvement and education. Prior to joining Owatonna Hospital, she served as chief nursing officer of Willamette Valley Medical Center, McMinnville, Ore. where she was responsible for overseeing all clinical hospital operations. Under Angelucci’s nursing leadership, the hospital implemented a No Lift Program, which required the purchase of special lift equipment and staff training to reduce staff injuries, promote patient comfort and reduce falls.

Prior to that, Angelucci was the chief nursing officer and associate administrator at Queen of Peace Hospital, New Prague, Minn. and the critical care manager with Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Other past experience includes serving as staff and charge nurse for a bone marrow transplant unit with the University of Minnesota Hospitals & Clinics, adjunct faculty and assistant professor with various Minnesota colleges and universities, and served in the United States Army Nurse Corp.

Angelucci’s education background includes a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing; an associates degree in nursing from Minneapolis Community College; and is pursuing a doctorate of nursing science from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing. In addition, she has published numerous articles in professional publications around nursing practices, patient care and leadership in Nursing Management, Nursing, Critical Care and Men in Nursing.

Angelucci is board certified in nursing in Minnesota and Oregon. She is also nationally certified in critical care nursing (CCRN), nursing administration (CNA) and health care administration. She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, Northwest Organization of Nurse Executives, American College of Healthcare Executives and American Association of Critical Care Nursing. Angelucci has been also awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the University of Minnesota; the Army Achievement Medal and Outstanding Service Award from ANW.

Mark Sevenich, Owatonna Hospital Director of Human Resources

Mark Sevenich is director of human resources at Owatonna Hospital, where he is responsible for the delivery of human resource services. Sevenich administers human resource policies, benefits and compensation programs, employee-relation services and labor-management relation services.

Prior to joining Owatonna Hospital, Sevenich was the senior human resources business partner at St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point, Wisc. In that capacity, he provided oversight for employee engagement, talent management and change agent efforts to more than 1,250 employees. Other past experience includes serving as division manager of human resources for CUNA Mutual Group, Bloomington, Minn. and division human resources manager for Stora Enso and Sentry Insurance.

Sevenich's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in political science from University Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a master's degree in communications from University Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
