Adult volunteers

A United Hospital adult volunteer hands a complimentary coffee to a visitor in the hospital lobby. The volunteer is a woman with short brown hair in a white shirt with a blue volunteer vest. The guest is a tall man with very short brown hair wearing a purple polo shirt. If you want to make a difference in people's lives, if you want to give back to your community, then United Hospital has a place for you in our Volunteer Services Program.

How to apply

Please choose one of the following options:


  • Call our application phone line at 651-241-4576 to have an application sent to you.

Volunteers must:

  • complete an application, which includes references and MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) documentation
  • have a tuberculosis screening test before your start date — this can be completed at United Hospital (no charge) or by your physician
