Adult volunteers

If you want to make a difference in people's lives, if you want to give back to your community, then United Hospital has a place for you in our Volunteer Services Program.

Benefits of volunteering

Volunteering can help you improve your skills, meet new people, build your confidence and increase your career options. In addition, research has shown that volunteering can improve your physical and mental wellbeing.

While volunteering at United Hospital, you'll meet all sorts of people, access to employee discounts and free educational programs. Most important, you'll be making a difference in people's lives. In addition, you receive:

• $6 meal credit per day

Volunteers must:

• complete an application, which includes references and MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) documentation
• have a tuberculosis screening test before your start date — this can be completed at United Hospital (no charge) or by your physician
