United Hospital's Cancer Care Services has received a Commission on Cancer (CoC) Seal of Approval with commendation. According to the American Cancer Society, the CoC is dedicated to improving health care for people with cancer. The CoC sets standards for hospitals, evaluates resources and quality of care and studies patterns of patient care and outcomes. To meet the standards necessary for CoC approval, a program must undergo a rigorous evaluation and performance review. CoC approval is only given to facilities that have committed to providing the very best.
